On election day, you don't want to be fumbling around for information related to the vote. That's why we've put together a few handy links that will get you connected to the right places quickly, like checking your voter registration, your polling place, or even registering to vote online.

You must be registered to vote and you should check your status each year to confirm.

Don't run into any surprises at the polls. Check your registration at least 45 days before the next election to make sure your information is listed correctly.

If you can't get to the polls you can vote by mail or by absentee ballot. This is the easiest way to vote.

Allegheny County makes online voter registration fast and easy with just a few small pieces of information. You can also register to vote by printing and mailing an official registration sheet here.

Polling Locations

Allegheny County Board of elections sets the polling locations and lists them on its website. You can find your polling location by entering your address on the county website. It will return information for your polling location.
